The Ground Zero GZCC 165.2SQL-II is a high-performance 2-way component system from the Competition Series, designed for high efficiency, high power handling, and high sound pressure levels. The combination of the 165-mm GZCK 165XSPL low-midrange driver and the GZCT 25SQL tweeter is particularly well-suited for car audio systems where dynamics and high sound pressure levels are a priority.
The low-/midrange driver features a fiber-reinforced paper cone and a long-throw foam W-suspension. This design delivers powerful, punchy bass and a direct midrange response. A CCA voice coil and the low-resonance steel basket ensure the necessary power handling and stability.
A unique feature of the system is the included passive 2-way SPL crossover. In addition to the standard configuration, it allows for the connection of an additional low-midrange driver. This enables the system to be expanded for applications requiring even higher output levels. Ground Zero has specifically designed this feature for performance-oriented competition and SQL installations.
