The MAX PM2-64/84 is GAS' most powerful midrange driver yet, designed for the discerning audiophile. At its heart is a powerful, high-quality ferrite magnet. Some say it is as strong and impressive as a certain bodybuilder from the 80s. The magnet diameter is even larger than that of some 12-inch subwoofers from MAD! This enormous magnetic force drives a 6.7/8 inch A3D paper cone. Extremely low distortion is achieved thanks to a CCAW voice coil wrapped around a TIL coil former and a precision copper shorting ring. Every component of this speaker, from the basket to the rubber cap, is designed for maximum performance and extreme durability.
