MAD subwoofers are made to be LOUD and last for years. These incredible vibrations are what drive us to develop such impressive subwoofers. We want to help you get as loud as possible. To do this, we use innovative and groundbreaking techniques that significantly increase durability.

SHAPEDPOLYPROPYLE MEMBRANE
We wanted to make the MAD S2 Series really loud, and that requires a robust cone. The S2 Series cone is made of injection-molded polypropylene that can withstand the toughest resonances and vibrations - even at very high sound pressure levels. Give it the performance it needs and you will be rewarded!

USG™-CONSTRUCTION
Next, we turned our attention to the construction around the cone, where we developed a USG™-construction (Unity Surround & Gasket). Normally, the gasket and surround are divided into two separate parts. We combined these to optimize the linear excursion and cone displacement range to give you an extra precision advantage and ensure a fantastic musical performance.

DVS™-VENTILATION SYSTEM
If you like it loud, proper cooling is key. We have equipped the subwoofer with a DVS™ (Dual Ventilation System) to reduce distortion and increase heat dissipation. Proper cooling reduces heat generation, and by reducing heat generation, you have the option to install more subwoofers for even better sound!

HOUSING OPTIMIZED
The MAD S2 series is both loud and impressive. We have developed a subwoofer with multi-talented Thiele/Small parameters that promise excellent performance in both sealed, vented and bandpass enclosures.

FIERCE DESIGN AND PCW VIBRATION COIL
To round off the high-quality design of the subwoofer, we have developed an industrial and robust MAD-shaped steel basket that is durable and robust. The 51 mm voice coil is made of PCW (Pure Copper Wire) and the dust cap, like the cone, is made of IMPP for a unique 3D design that will make your friends jealous and keep haters away!
