GAS Audio MAD D-48BT

The GAS Audio MAD D-48BT is a versatile 8-channel digital signal processor designed for the precise tuning of high-end car audio systems. It is suitable for optimizing both factory-installed audio systems and fully retrofitted multichannel systems. Four RCA or high-level input channels allow for the integration of various signal sources, while eight RCA outputs enable flexible control of separate amplifier channels.

For high-quality signal processing, GAS Audio combines an AKM DSP chipset with a Cirrus Logic digital-to-analog converter and Texas Instruments operational amplifiers. As a result, the processor achieves a low total harmonic distortion of just 0.002% as well as a high signal-to-noise ratio. In addition to the analog inputs, an optical and a coaxial digital input, as well as Bluetooth 5.4, are available.

Each of the eight output channels features its own 31-band parametric equalizer, an adjustable crossover, and individual time alignment correction. Various filter characteristics and slope settings up to 48 dB per octave allow for precise adjustment to the speakers, installation positions, and the vehicle’s acoustic behavior. Up to six settings can be saved as presets. Configuration is performed via the Windows user interface as well as through an app for iOS and Android.
