The extremely rigid cone offers uncompromising performance for maximum control and precision, even at the highest pressures. In addition, a bespoke carbon dust cap protects - quite literally - the 8000 W RMS coil of this beast and ensures that cone deformation is a thing of the past. The result is a subwoofer with extreme strength, unprecedented control and outstanding precision.
World-class endurance
At this ultimate level, linearity and accuracy are key. A moving assembly with an elite cone and a premium, US-made voice coil (80 mm winding height) that must remain perfectly aligned even at extreme excursions. To keep this huge moving mass under control, we implemented a 4-layer Nomex spider pack with orange mesh and a mega roll surround on top - double stitched to the cone, of course.
Extreme resilience
A double black anodized 4-inch voice coil made of flat aluminum wire with 8 layers gives the CMP S3-12D1N and CMP S3-12D.5N extreme power handling and heat dissipation capabilities. They are available in two versions, 1+1 or 0.5+0.5 Ohm, for a perfect impedance match to your chosen amplifiers. To achieve the best possible signal transmission and increased durability, two silver-coated leads have been sewn into the spider package. The pre-terminated 10 mm² oxygen-free copper direct feed leads provide excellent conductivity to ensure a strong and reliable direct connection between the subwoofer coil and your amplifier with no points of additional resistance or poor contact.

This subwoofer was designed from the ground up for extreme power. The A-Star 16-block high-performance N52 neodymium motor provides a new level of power control along the huge 80mm X-Max for unprecedented performance. In addition, the precisely positioned open neoblock cooling system ensures that the subwoofer performs at its best even in the most intense competitions. The CMP S3-12D1N and S3-12D.5N require attention and space, but reward you with an unprecedented level of bass.
