The Auto-Connect DSPEAKER is a foam damping kit specifically designed for speaker installation that improves the acoustic coupling of door speakers to the door panel. The kit consists of two foam rings for the speakers and two damping plates, and is suitable for speakers up to 8 inches in size.

The self-adhesive foam rings are mounted around the speakers to create the most precise transition possible between the speaker and the door panel. As a result, sound is directed more precisely through the speaker opening into the vehicle’s interior, rather than spreading out partially behind the door panel. This can improve sound reproduction, particularly in the midrange and mid-bass ranges.

The additional damping panels are installed behind the speakers. They help reduce unwanted reflections, vibrations, and background noise in the installation area. The DSPEAKER set is therefore an excellent addition when retrofitting high-quality door speakers and can be used in both vehicle-specific and universal car audio installations.
