In order to be able to offer optimum sound on boats or other demanding locations, ESX has recently expanded its innovative amplifier range to include MARINE AUDIO and now also offers two modern VISION Class D amplifiers to provide hobby captains who want to listen to better and more powerful music on the high seas with the performance they need. The prerequisite for marine suitability is certification in the IP67 protection class, i.e. the two robust VMA700.4 and VMA700.1 amplifiers are not only dustproof, but can even be temporarily submerged under water. This means that the two VMA amplifiers are optimally protected even against adverse conditions on land, at sea and in the air.
To drive a front and rear system, the often rather meagre output of a radio with 10-15 watts per channel is hardly sufficient. This can be remedied by external amplifiers, which provide significantly more power. The classy VMA700.4 4-channel power amplifier easily delivers more than 10 times as much. At just 11x25 cm, it is very compact despite the immense power of 175 watts RMS per channel and therefore always finds a suitable place even in smaller boats. All controls and crossovers are protected behind a screwed cover.
