With extremely compact dimensions, ESX is introducing two new active down-firing subwoofers that prove to be true space-savers. But don’t let their compact design fool you: Thanks to high-quality components such as the new QXP high-end subwoofers and powerful 460-watt Class D bass modules, they rank among the very best in terms of performance and handle even the deepest bass notes with ease.

The sheer weight alone shows that no compromises were made here. The flat yet solid MDF enclosures, featuring additional internal bracing, are extremely sturdy and very effectively suppress unwanted resonance. A particularly practical feature: Thanks to the removable feet, the speakers can also be perfectly integrated into double trunk floors.

The ESX speakers feature the new, revolutionary QXP Flat subwoofers—flat, high-performance drivers that are in a class of their own. With an impressive Xmax of ±20 mm, they deliver dynamics and bass power that one would hardly expect from this design. Solid cast aluminum baskets and powerful dual magnets ensure maximum stability and perfect control of the cone. The result: a clean, precise, and deep-reaching bass performance.

The high-end QXP enclosures house the multi-award-winning POWER4 Class D active module, which delivers a massive 1,000 watts peak at 4 ohms, providing ample power reserves. The module features sophisticated input circuitry: Thanks to the “EPS PRO” high-level input developed by ESX, the module is fully compatible with modern vehicles and their sensitive diagnostic systems. The module’s features are equally uncompromising: adjustable subsonic and low-pass filters, bass boost, and a phase switch allow for precise tuning of the bass foundation. The signal can be fed in via either RCA or high-level inputs. The included bass level remote control ensures maximum convenience, allowing the bass level to be easily adjusted at any time from the driver’s seat.
