ESX QL810SP - 10 channel

With the two QUANTUM QL processors, ESX shows what real high-end DSPs can achieve. Even the equipment is of the finest quality: not only have the finest 32-bit converters from AKM's 5 series been installed, but two of the ADAU1452 and therefore the best processors from Analog Devices are also used. This is where the wheat is separated from the chaff: conventional DSPs usually only have one DSP core. However, if a DSP has many channels and corresponding equipment, computing power becomes scarce. Not so with the new ESX top models, on the contrary. The two QL DSPs have so much reserve that they can easily process not only 12 channels, but the developers have also implemented the revolutionary ESX Expert Staging Equalizer with balance and level function in addition to numerous functions, which enables further refinements in fine-tuning. Thanks to the integrated Bluetooth receiver, the app version of the ESX DSP Toolkit can be used live and in real time from a smartphone - HD audio streaming included. The LCD remote control RC-DQ, available as an accessory, offers additional operating convenience.

The entire audio processing power is also controlled in the ESX DSPs as befits their status. Command processing is handled by a powerful ARM Cortex® M4 High Performance CPU with 240 MHz and internal 1024 kB flash memory. This is the only way to work in real time with maximum performance. With the new QL812SP, ESX has now also cemented its high standards in the field of high-end DSPs: In the test review in the specialist magazine Car & Hifi 3/2022, the QL812SP was so convincing that the test editors not only classified it as a highlight, but also as the best DSP "this side of 2000 euros". This is outstanding, as it is available for just 1000 euros.
