The EDX series has grown: The new Xtreme Pro midrange drivers set new standards in their price class. Equipped with powerful neodymium motors for extreme response and a significantly smaller and lighter magnet, they are ideal for the installation of multiple drivers per door. The smaller and lighter motors reduce the weight of the door panel and enable a more compact design thanks to a lower installation depth, which further reduces weight.
The midrange drivers do not compromise on technology: they feature a double-rolled accordion foam surround for improved midrange response and a carbon dust cap for increased rigidity. Combined with a paper composite cone that leaves nothing to be desired, they deliver rich vocals and a powerful, PA-like sound without being shrill.
