CZ Audio Street Neo 8

The CZ Audio Street Neo 8 is a no-compromise 20-cm subwoofer designed for high-performance car audio systems that require high power handling and long cone excursion despite their compact dimensions. The subwoofer is handcrafted in Austria and combines a powerful neodymium driver with a long-throw design.

At the heart of the Street Neo 8 is a 2.5-inch, 6-layer voice coil combined with three powerful neodymium magnets. This enables an RMS power handling capacity of 1,250 watts despite the compact 8-inch form factor. The lightweight yet powerful driver ensures controlled cone movement and is suitable for both high-end audio systems and installations with high volume requirements.

The paper cone is further reinforced by a generously sized carbon dust cap. Combined with the foam surround and a design optimized for long-throw operation, the Street Neo 8 achieves an Xmax of 35 mm. This gives the subwoofer considerable excursion for its size and allows it to move a correspondingly large volume of air.

A sturdy aluminum basket forms the mechanical foundation of the subwoofer. With an outer diameter of just 222 mm and a required mounting cutout of 186 mm, the Street Neo 8 is particularly well-suited for high-performance subwoofer setups where space is limited.
