B-Stock CZ Audio SQ28 PRO

B-Grade Description:
Returned items with normal installation marks on the mounting holes; they have been tested for functionality and will be shipped in neutral packaging without the original packaging

The CZ Audio SQ28 PRO is a high-quality 25-mm dome tweeter designed specifically for high-end car audio systems that prioritize sound quality. Its design is optimized for detailed and controlled high-frequency reproduction, as well as the most linear frequency response possible.

The SQ28 PRO features a redesigned driver. A pole-piece bore, combined with a vented air gap, supports the controlled movement of the driver and reduces unwanted resonances. At the same time, the design allows for a comparatively low-frequency crossover point with the midrange or low-midrange driver. This makes the SQ28 PRO particularly well-suited for high-quality active 2-way and 3-way systems with DSP.

With an RMS power handling capacity of 80 watts and a sound pressure level of 90 dB, the tweeter also offers ample headroom for high-performance sound-quality installations. The nominal impedance is 4 ohms, while the DC resistance is specified as 3.2 ohms.

With a frequency response starting at 1.1 kHz, the SQ28 PRO provides excellent conditions for deep acoustic integration. CZ Audio recommends a crossover frequency above 1,800 Hz. The actual appropriate crossover frequency should be selected based on filter slope, installation position, desired volume level, and DSP tuning.
