Softwave Expert - 15mm

The Comfort Mat SoftWave Expert is a high-quality sound absorber designed for demanding car audio and vehicle sound deadening projects. Its specially developed open-cell polyurethane structure, featuring integrated low-molecular-weight polymers, ensures exceptionally high sound absorption across a wide frequency range. The three-dimensional wave structure absorbs sound energy particularly effectively and significantly reduces unwanted reflections inside the vehicle.

Unlike traditional sound-deadening mats, SoftWave Expert is not designed to dampen sheet metal vibrations; rather, it is used as a second layer over existing aluminum butyl or vibration dampers. This effectively absorbs airborne sound, resonances, and high-frequency road, wind, and tire noise. The result is a significantly quieter interior and more precise, cleaner sound reproduction from the speakers. The elastic structure with a memory effect also adapts perfectly to even complex contours and tight installation spaces.

Quick Installation Guide

1. Thoroughly clean the vehicle's surface to remove dust, grease, and dirt.
2. First, properly install a suitable aluminum butyl or vibration-damping mat as the first layer.
3. Cut SoftWave Expert to the required size.
4. If the ambient temperature is low, gently warm the adhesive with a heat gun or a hair dryer.
5. Remove the protective film and apply the mat to the first layer that has already been laid, making sure there are no air bubbles.
6. Use a pressure roller to press it down evenly and firmly to ensure optimal adhesion.
7. Make sure there is enough space for trim pieces and moving parts
