Extreme Pro - 6 MM

The Comfort Mat Extreme Pro 6 mm was developed specifically for areas subject to extremely high vibration loads. Thanks to its multi-layer construction—comprising special butyl polymers, an additional bitumen layer, and double-sided aluminum reinforcement—it achieves exceptionally high rigidity and outstanding vibration damping. This makes it ideal for high-performance car audio systems, SPL vehicles, and sophisticated sound optimization projects.

Applied as the first layer of insulation directly onto the vehicle sheet metal, Extreme Pro effectively reduces sheet metal resonance, structure-borne noise, and vibrations. At the same time, it increases the stability of large body panels and creates the optimal foundation for the subsequent application of additional insulation or absorber materials. It really shows its advantages in areas subject to heavy stress, such as wheel wells, the vehicle floor, or the bulkhead.

Installation Instructions

1. Thoroughly clean the vehicle body panels and completely degrease them.
2. Cut the insulation mat to size.
3. Heat the mat to approximately 50 °C before use so that it reaches its maximum flexibility and adhesive strength.
4. Remove the protective film and place the mat on the clean baking sheet.
5. Use a pressure roller to press it down carefully and without creating bubbles until the aluminum surface is completely flush.
6. For best results, install the mats over as much of the vibration-prone areas of the car body as possible.
