With the SPL Elite Series, we have taken the hugely popular Play Series drivers to the next level and beyond. Every single part has been optimized. For increased durability, the basket has been cast from aluminum and a phase plug has been introduced for better cooling, which is necessary when there is a lot of noise. The magnet is bigger, the sensitivity is higher and the power handling has been significantly increased - brilliant, right? Even the cone has been improved and is now made of uncompressed paper.
