Our port calculator shows you which tuning your enclosure has! The net volume is always particularly important here; calculate the pure chamber of the subwoofer beforehand to arrive at the correct result. The net volume is calculated minus all displacements and is important when designing the enclosure.

Bass Habit Play PL212 is the cabinet for those who want a lot of bass without sacrificing their entire income. The PL212 delivers a lot of bass. The cabinet is equipped with a bass reflex port located on one of the short sides. By placing the port on the side of the bass instead of in the middle, we were able to make the cabinet smaller so it fits in smaller rooms!
The perfect all-round subwoofer. You may know the Play P212. The PL212 is an evolution of the P212, Bass Habit's best-selling cabinet. Here you will find a bass reflex port on the short side of the cabinet, which allows for tuning to 42 Hz. This offers a wonderful combination of deep bass and higher tones in the bass range. In other words: it is suitable for almost all types of music!
1 or 4 ohms?
Inside the case you will find two 2 ohm drivers. On the side of the case there is a connection terminal where you can connect them in three different ways:
parallel wiring for 1 ohm
2+2 Ohm directly into the amplifier
or series connection for 4 ohms
So you are free to choose how you want to connect them depending on your amplifier. If you want to get the most out of a monoblock amplifier, choose 1 ohm! Or if you are using a slightly more powerful 2-channel amplifier that you have bridged, it makes sense to connect it to 4 ohms.
