The Pro Audio Rage series from B² Audio is an extremely efficient speaker series; even with low power, enormous levels can be achieved without any loss of sound quality.
The RAGE8P are used when the bass level is too enormous for conventional systems to cope with. The perfect complement to this are the RAGE Pro Audio tweeters, with their horn construction these tweeters are the perfect combination to withstand the level.
Thanks to the phase plug positioned in the middle, these speakers experience an additional level boost in the upper frequency range, which allows a pleasant connection to the high frequencies despite their size. Nevertheless, thanks to their 2.4" coil, the speakers produce an enormous bass and punch, which is rather rare for PA mid-range speakers. Another advantage is the low resonance frequency and playing style, a much more pleasant fundamental tone and a warm sound reproduction, despite the very high output.
Thanks to the special cone coating, all PA components from B² Audio are splash-proof and are often used in sound systems, motorcycles or any other outdoor areas, avoiding damage to the otherwise typical paper cone due to softening when wet.
