This is exactly where the VMX601DAB shines: It fits into the classic 1-DIN radio slot yet still offers a generous 6.3-inch touchscreen with a rotary control and state-of-the-art multimedia technology. With DAB+ digital radio, Bluetooth® hands-free calling, and audio streaming, this moniceiver offers features you’d hardly expect in such a compact installation format.

One of the VMX601DAB’s key strengths is its wireless smartphone connectivity via Apple CarPlay® or Android Auto™. The 6.3-inch display clearly shows the familiar smartphone interfaces, which can be operated conveniently and intuitively. In a compact 1-DIN format, the VMX601DAB offers an impressively extensive range of features. In addition to DAB+ digital radio and Bluetooth®, it features USB ports with charging capability, preamp outputs, audio/video inputs, and connections for front and rearview cameras. The modern Linux operating system ensures fast response times and high stability.
