The Rage series from B² Audio combines price and performance at the highest level. A series that meets high standards in terms of appearance, technology, and functionality. The new RAGE4800 amplifier series is characterized by enormous power in a very compact design, yet remains very elegant design.
To prevent cooling issues, B² Audio uses a custom-designed cooling system to optimally dissipate heat. The large power terminals also provide a sufficient power supply; with a cross-sectional area of up to 50 mm², a very reliable power delivery is ensured.
The RAGE4800 is suitable for subwoofers with up to 4,800 watts RMS and is a perfect match for the B² Audio RAGE and RAGE XL subwoofers; Here, a dual 2-ohm voice coil can be perfectly matched to a 1-ohm connection on the amplifier; or, if that’s not enough, you have the option to connect two subwoofers simultaneously using a dual 1-ohm voice coil, also configured for 1 ohm.
In addition, many users are impressed by the included remote level control, which features integrated clipping and temperature monitoring as well as a voltage display. Clipping is the greatest enemy of any speaker or subwoofer; the display allows for smooth setup without expensive calibration tools. Furthermore, it enables immediate detection of a distorted signal during operation, and the integrated voltage display lets you keep an eye on the power supply at all times— an absolute must-have.
