The AWAVE AWV650 is a vehicle-specific 165-mm 2-way coaxial system designed for numerous vehicles from the Volkswagen Group. Thanks to its design, which is tailored to the specific installation locations, the system is particularly well-suited for replacing factory-installed speakers and delivers improved sound quality without the need for universal speaker baskets.
The low-midrange driver features a synthetic fiberglass cone that combines low weight with high rigidity. This allows the speaker to reproduce both low and midrange frequencies with precision. The 30-mm TIL voice coil, with an impedance of 4 ohms, is rated for an RMS power handling capacity of 50 watts.
A 13-mm fabric dome tweeter is integrated directly into the coaxial system to handle the high-frequency range. The mid-bass driver and tweeter are thus aligned on a common axis, which makes the AWV650 particularly well-suited for installation locations where no separate tweeter is provided.
The sturdy plastic basket is designed specifically for each vehicle model, making it easy to install in the designated original mounting locations. Depending on the vehicle, the stock speakers may be riveted in place and must be drilled out accordingly when replacing them.

Note: Before ordering, you should verify the actual installation location and compatibility based on the vehicle model, model year, and existing audio system. In some vehicles, the original speakers are riveted in place and must be drilled out for replacement. Additionally, the system is not suitable for all speaker positions in every listed vehicle
