The Audison bit DMI is a digital MOST interface for lossless integration of factory infotainment systems into high-quality Audison DSP and amplifier solutions. Developed for vehicles with MOST technology based on fiber optics, the interface enables direct digital signal transmission from the OEM system to compatible Audison components - without unnecessary signal conversion or loss of quality.
Thanks to the digital connection, all functions of the original head unit are fully retained. This includes volume control, balance and sound control as well as hands-free system, navigation announcements or parking sensor signals. This makes the bit DMI ideal for modern OEM sound upgrades where the highest sound quality is to be combined with complete vehicle integration.
The compact interface works with an optical MOST input and provides the audio signal via an optical TOSLINK output in stereo PCM format. The device can be configured vehicle-specifically via the USB interface and updated using software. Thanks to the automatic switch-on and switch-off function via the MOST system, integration is particularly convenient and reliable.
The Audison bit DMI has been specially developed for demanding car hi-fi installations and forms the perfect basis for high-quality digital signal processing in modern vehicles.
