The Audio System Italy Twister F2.400 is a high-performance analog 2-channel amplifier designed for high-end car audio systems. The time-honored Twister series combines high output power with circuitry designed for sound quality, making it suitable for driving both high-end front systems and powerful subwoofers.
With 2 × 170 watts RMS at 4 ohms, the F2.400 provides ample power reserves even in stereo mode. At an impedance of 2 ohms, the output power increases to 2 × 260 watts RMS. To drive a subwoofer, both channels can be bridged, providing up to 600 watts RMS at 4 ohms.
A key feature of the Twister series is the combination of high current delivery capability and an analog amplifier circuit designed for low distortion. High-quality, carefully selected components and tight component tolerances are designed to enable precise and controlled sound reproduction. Audio System Italy and GT Trading place particular emphasis on natural and powerful music reproduction in vehicles with their products.
Thanks to the built-in high-pass and low-pass filters, the power amplifier can be flexibly integrated into various system configurations. The low-pass filter is adjustable from 45 to 300 Hz, and the high-pass filter from 20 to 150 Hz. Both filters operate with a slope of 12 dB/octave.
