The Audio System Italy ASY 8 is a compact 20-cm subwoofer designed to deliver high bass performance despite its small size. With a power handling capacity of 400 watts RMS and a large linear cone excursion, the ASY 8 is particularly well-suited for performance-oriented car audio systems where installation space is limited.

The powerful drive unit works in conjunction with a lightweight diaphragm and a robust suspension system to ensure controlled diaphragm movement even at higher volume levels. With a mounting depth of just 91 mm, the 8-inch subwoofer can also be used in relatively shallow enclosure designs.

Thanks to the dual voice coil with 2 × 2 ohms, a variety of connection options are available. The two voice coils can be wired accordingly, depending on the amplifier used. With an Xmax of 24 mm, the ASY 8 also offers a remarkable cone excursion for its size.
