The Audio System Italy ASY 12 is a high-performance 30-cm subwoofer designed for car audio applications that require powerful and impactful bass. With a power handling capacity of 500 watts RMS and a dual voice coil rated at 2 + 2 ohms, the woofer is suitable for a variety of amplifiers and wiring configurations.

The sturdy diaphragm construction and powerful driver are designed to withstand high mechanical stresses. A progressive, double-layered spider system ensures controlled diaphragm movement even at higher volume levels. The diaphragm is made of unpressed paper containing fibers and combines a comparatively low weight with the stability required for high loads.

The ASY 12 features a vented voice coil design for improved heat dissipation. The generously sized suspension and sturdy connection cables ensure reliable operation even under heavy use. Thanks to the dual 2-ohm voice coil, the subwoofer can be operated with a total impedance of either 1 or 4 ohms, depending on the wiring configuration.
