AF3500 Audio System

The Audio System Italy AF3500 is a powerful single-channel Class D amplifier designed specifically for demanding car audio and SPL applications. A key feature of the AF3500 is its regulated power supply: The amplifier delivers its high output power across an exceptionally wide impedance range and can operate down to 0.5 ohms.

With 3,500 watts RMS at 2 ohms, 1 ohm, and 0.5 ohms, the AF3500 offers a high degree of flexibility when connecting high-power subwoofers. This allows you to change the connected speaker configuration without having to immediately switch to a different amplifier.

Full-range Class D technology expands the range of applications beyond traditional subwoofer uses. With a frequency response up to 20 kHz, the monoblock can also be used for other high-power speaker configurations.

A variable low-pass filter, a subsonic filter, and an adjustable bass boost are available for optimizing the audio system. The input sensitivity can be adjusted to match the output voltage of the signal source being used.

A comprehensive protection system monitors the amplifier during operation. This includes, among other things, protection against short circuits, DC voltage at the speaker output, overheating, improper supply voltage, and insufficient connected impedance. Operating and fault conditions are indicated by corresponding status indicators.
