The Audio System Italy AE-10A is a compact active subwoofer designed to easily enhance a car audio system with powerful bass. The complete system combines a 25 cm (10") subwoofer, a tuned enclosure, and the necessary power amplifier into a single unit. This eliminates the need to install a separate subwoofer amplifier.

A built-in Class A/B power amplifier with 250 watts RMS powers the subwoofer. The adjustable low-pass filter allows the subwoofer’s operating range to be adjusted between 40 and 180 Hz to match the existing speaker system. A variable bass boost and a phase reversal switch are also available.

Thanks to its combination of RCA and high-level inputs, the AE-10A can be connected to both aftermarket radios and numerous factory-installed audio systems. When connected via the high-level input, an automatic power-on function is available. A wired remote control also allows for convenient adjustment of the subwoofer level from the driver’s seat.

The compact enclosure measures just 440 x 300 x 300 mm, making it particularly well-suited for vehicles where a significantly more powerful bass response is desired despite limited space.
