The Audio System Italy AD3000 is a high-performance Class-D monoblock amplifier designed for demanding subwoofer systems. With an output power of up to 3,000 watts RMS into 1 ohm, this amplifier offers ample power reserves for powerful bass applications and high-performance subwoofers.
In addition to its high output power, the AD3000 offers extensive adjustment options for tuning the subwoofer range. The adjustable low-pass filter enables a clean separation from the rest of the speaker system, while the subsonic filter can be used—especially with vented subwoofer enclosures—to limit very low frequencies. Additionally, an adjustable bass boost and phase adjustment are available.
A built-in protection circuit monitors key operating conditions of the power amplifier. These include, among others, output short circuits, DC voltage at the speaker output, overtemperature, and a supply voltage outside the permissible range. An external bass level control for conveniently adjusting the subwoofer level from the driver's seat is also included.
