The AMPIRE 55100-PRO is a compact low-frequency noise filter designed to reduce unwanted noise in a car audio system. It is used in particular when ground loops cause speed-dependent noise or alternator whine to be audible through the speakers.
The shielded transformer electrically isolates the RCA signal connection, thereby reducing the cause of typical grounding issues between the audio source and the amplifier. The 55100-PRO is integrated directly into the RCA signal path, and its compact dimensions make it suitable even for installations with limited space.
