AMI - precision meets practice

The AMI (Audio Measurement Interface) is the professional interface for analyzing electrical and acoustic signals - and therefore the ideal solution for anyone who requires maximum accuracy and maximum integration in DSP-based sound systems. Developed as a compact and versatile interface, it offers all the functions required for precise analysis, tuning and optimization of modern sound systems - seamlessly coordinated with the functionalities of our DSP PC-Tool software.

Connection diversity for every signal source

Thanks to the microphone input with switchable phantom power and adjustable gain, the AMI is suitable for use with all condenser microphones. An additional preamplifier input with adjustable input sensitivity (1 V or 40 V) allows detailed analysis of both low and high level signals. The stereo signal output is either via RCA or optical digital - ideal for direct signal routing to a DSP. An integrated loopback function also opens up extended possibilities for phase measurements and complex signal analysis.

Tailor-made for the DSP PC-Tool

In combination with the DSP PC-Tool, the AMI becomes a powerful tool for all relevant measurement and analysis tasks. The seamless integration enables, among other things, the use of the Advanced Input Signal Analyzer (AISA) for precise detection and correction of factory equalizers, all-pass filters and delay corrections in the DSP input signals. The RTA (Real-Time Analyzer) for detailed frequency response measurements including automatic equalization using the TuneEQ algorithm and the ATM (Automatic Time Measurement) for fully automatic time alignment are also supported. This means that the AMI provides all the tools for efficient and high-precision sound tuning in an optimally integrated manner.

Ready for immediate use - for maximum compatibility

The AMI is powered via USB and does not require an external power supply unit - maximum mobility is therefore guaranteed. The scope of delivery includes a high-quality 3 m USB-C cable with USB-A adapter, an RCA to high-level adapter and a 16 GB USB 3.0 stick with pre-installed DSP tuning tracks. Compatibility with Windows 10 & 11, macOS, Android and iOS as well as support for ASIO drivers for professional audio applications round off the sophisticated overall concept.
