The Auto-Connect PNF20A is a compact noise filter for the vehicle's 12-volt power supply. It was designed to reduce electrical interference in the vehicle's electrical system, which can manifest in the car audio system as a disturbing hum or alternator whine, for example.

The filter is integrated directly into the power supply of the device in question and is particularly suitable for car stereos, DSP processors, and other car audio accessories with a maximum current draw of 20 A. With a maximum operating voltage of up to 16 V DC, it is designed for typical 12-V automotive applications.

The PNF20A is particularly useful when ground connections and cable routing have already been checked, but electrical noise is still present. By filtering out interference from the power supply, it can help ensure clean, low-noise audio playback.
