The ESX DBX208BPQ is a high-performance dual-bandpass subwoofer system featuring two 20 cm (8-inch) woofers and innovative Flex-Port technology. The specially designed enclosure allows for flexible orientation of the bass output and is particularly well-suited for vehicles with ski-bag openings, sedans, and convertibles.
What makes this system special is its integrated, switchable bass channel. The adjustable aluminum cover allows the sound outlet to be used either at the front or the back of the enclosure. This enables the bass to be directed either directly into the trunk or specifically into the vehicle’s interior through a ski bag opening.
Both subwoofers feature sturdy 50-mm voice coils and hand-formed paper cones. With a total power handling capacity of 400 watts RMS and a maximum of 800 watts, the system delivers powerful bass reproduction.
In addition to the standard speaker terminals, the DBX208BPQ features a convenient Quick-Connect terminal. The two 2-ohm speakers can be operated separately or connected in parallel to achieve a total impedance of 1 ohm or 4 ohms. The rugged, carpet-covered enclosure is accented by high-quality embroidered ESX logo.
