ESX DRDS-14

The ESX DRDS-14 is a smart 4-channel remote distributor with individually adjustable power-on and power-off delays. It was developed specifically for complex car audio systems in which multiple amplifiers or other components need to be turned on and off reliably and in a staggered manner.

When multiple power amplifiers are turned on simultaneously, high inrush currents and annoying crackling or popping noises can occur in the speakers. The ESX DRDS-14 prevents such problems by distributing the incoming remote signal to four separately programmable outputs. Each output can be configured with an individual delay of up to 30 seconds.

Even when turning off the power, the connected devices can be deactivated at different times and independently of the order in which they were turned on.

In addition, the DRDS-14 features a digital, calibratable voltage display as well as adjustable overvoltage and undervoltage protection. If the onboard voltage falls outside the specified range, the remote outputs are automatically shut off to protect the connected components from critical voltage conditions.

Thanks to its compact design, intuitive controls, and removable mounting feet, the remote distributor can be easily integrated into existing or new car audio systems.
