HiFonics ZXT10D2

The HiFonics ZXT10D2 from the ZEUS EXTREME series was developed for demanding car audio applications that require extreme bass performance, high sound pressure, and maximum power handling. With an RMS power rating of 2,500 watts and a maximum power handling capacity of 5,000 watts, this 25 cm (10-inch) subwoofer ranks among the most powerful models in its size class.

At the heart of the ZXT10D2 is the massive triple-magnet drive, featuring three ferrite magnets with a total weight of approximately 8.5 kg. Together with the 76-mm dual voice coil and the specially developed pi-CCAR flat wire, this design enables high thermal resilience and powerful cone movement.

The carbon-reinforced composite diaphragm with a three-layer sandwich construction offers exceptionally high rigidity combined with comparatively low weight. Three Nomex centering spiders and the reinforced RSA (Reinforced Structure Array) surround ensure precise control even during large excursions. This keeps the diaphragm under control even under high mechanical stress.

A sturdy die-cast aluminum basket, a chrome-plated pole plate with a pole core hole, and the distinctive blue magnetic shield complete the robust design. The ZXT10D2 is particularly well-suited for high-performance SPL installations and powerful bass-reflex systems.
