ESX QXE15D2

The ESX QXE15D2 from the QUANTUM series is a powerful 38 cm (15-inch) subwoofer designed for massive bass output, high power handling, and precise low-frequency reproduction.

At its heart is a specially designed cast aluminum basket with generous centering and optimized ventilation. The sophisticated design allows for a large diaphragm excursion while improving heat dissipation from the voice coil. Additional ventilation openings in the T-plate and rear ventilation of the centering spider support effective cooling even under high loads.

Two massive 100-oz. magnets, combined with a 76-mm dual voice coil mounted on a black anodized aluminum carrier, provide powerful drive. The 40-mm-high voice coil winding enables a linear diaphragm excursion of ±14 mm and a maximum mechanical excursion of ±22 mm.

The paper cone with a double-stitched foam surround ensures stable and controlled bass reproduction. With an RMS power handling capacity of 1,500 watts and a maximum power handling capacity of 3,000 watts, the QXE15D2 is particularly well-suited for high-performance car audio systems that require high sound pressure levels and deep bass.
