ESX VX15PRO

The ESX VISION VX15PRO is a high-performance 38 cm (15-inch) SPL subwoofer designed specifically for extreme bass applications and the most demanding performance requirements. With a power handling capacity of 3,500 watts RMS and a maximum power output of 7,000 watts, it is one of the most powerful models in the VISION VX PRO series.

The solid construction, featuring a highly rigid cast aluminum basket and a triple-magnet drive, ensures the necessary stability during extreme cone excursion. The magnetic drive, with a total magnetic weight of 300 ounces—or approximately 8.5 kg—provides the necessary driving force for powerful and controlled bass reproduction.

Special attention was paid to the design of the diaphragm. The three-layer composite diaphragm, made of carbon, hardened cotton, and fiberglass, combines high torsional rigidity with comparatively low weight. An additional carbon dust cap reinforces the construction and enhances mechanical durability at high sound pressure levels.

To handle its enormous power consumption, the VX15PRO features a generously sized 100 mm CCAR voice coil. It is made of copper-clad aluminum flat wire and combines high thermal resistance with a weight-optimized design. The generous winding height of 57.5 mm enables a linear diaphragm excursion of ±23 mm and a maximum mechanical excursion of ±30 mm.

With its rugged construction, high power handling, and powerful magnetic drive, the ESX VX15PRO is particularly well-suited for demanding SPL installations and high-performance car audio systems.
