HiFonics MBP1000.4 Subwoofer Package

The HiFonics MBP1000.4 MERCURY Bass Power Package is a powerful all-in-one system for anyone who wants to upgrade their car audio system with deep bass and additional amplifier power. The package combines a 4-channel analog amplifier, a 20 cm (8-inch) bandpass subwoofer, and a matching amplifier connection kit.

The built-in MERCURY IV amplifier allows the subwoofer and a front speaker system to be operated simultaneously. While channels 3 and 4 are bridged to drive the subwoofer, channels 1 and 2 are available for the front speakers.

The MR8BP bandpass subwoofer delivers powerful bass reproduction thanks to its specially tuned enclosure. The integrated blue and white LED interior lighting adds visual accents.

The fact that the system performs well in real-world conditions is demonstrated by a sound pressure measurement reported by the manufacturer of over 141 dB at 52 Hz in a VW Golf V. This value was determined under specific test conditions using a Term-Lab measurement system and is not applicable to every vehicle.

The included HF10WK-ECO connection kit already contains key components for power supply and signal connection.
