Comfort Mat insulation
The Comfort Mat Extreme is an alubutyl-bitumen sandwich, multi-layer vibration damping mat for areas with high vibration loads. Universal, vibration-damping material with a thickness of 3.5 mm has very good adhesion to metal. The material consists of a mixture of special butyl polymers and a layer of bitumen reinforced with 2 layers of aluminum foil. The use of a modified elastomer in the composition of the damping layer gives the material a high mechanical loss factor, good adhesion and resistance to environmental influences. The mats in the EXTREME series are water-resistant and have sealing and anti-corrosion properties. They must be heated during installation!
