The GAS Audio Power MAD PM2-54 was developed for those who want to get the maximum level out of little space. This 5.25-inch SPL midrange driver delivers impressive volume, high power handling and an aggressive sound character - perfect for SQL and SPL systems with a focus on assertiveness and dynamics.
Thanks to its reinforced paper cone, powerful ferrite drive unit and robust steel basket construction, the PM2-54 remains controlled and precise even at high levels. The 1.2" KSV voice coil ensures increased power handling and long-lasting performance even under extreme conditions. In addition, the integrated copper shorting ring reduces distortion and improves sound quality at high volumes.
With its compact size, the MAD PM2-54 is ideal for door panels, kick panels or space-critical installations where there is no room for conventional 6.5" speakers. Despite its compact format, it delivers enormous sound pressure and is perfect for use in multiple configurations.
