The ESX SXE8D2 from the SIGNUM series is a high-quality 20 cm (8-inch) subwoofer that impresses with its sturdy construction, powerful bass reproduction, and versatile applications. This subwoofer truly comes into its own in bass-reflex enclosures, delivering powerful, precise low-frequency reproduction.

The robust die-cast aluminum basket ensures high stability and reduces unwanted resonance. The cup-shaped paper cone, combined with a durable rubber surround, enables controlled cone movement. Powerful drive is provided by two heavy ferrite magnets and a 50-mm dual voice coil with a winding height of 20 mm.

Thanks to its dual voice coil with a 2+2-ohm configuration, the ESX SXE8D2 can be flexibly paired with a variety of amplifiers. The two voice coils can be wired in parallel for 1 ohm or in series for 4 ohms.

A distinctive feature is the pre-installed metal protective grille with its striking hexagonal honeycomb pattern. This reliably protects the cone from mechanical damage and gives the subwoofer a high-quality look.
