ESX SX-FOUR

The ESX SX-FOUR from the SIGNUM SX Mini series combines high output power with exceptionally compact dimensions. Despite a cabinet width of just 83 mm, this digital 4-channel power amplifier delivers up to 4 x 125 watts RMS at 2 ohms or 2 x 250 watts RMS in bridged mode. This makes it suitable for high-power front and rear speakers as well as for active multi-way systems or a 3-channel configuration with an additional subwoofer.

The modern Class D circuit operates at an efficiency of up to 87%, which keeps power loss—and thus heat generation—to a minimum. Heat dissipation is aided by the sturdy die-cast aluminum heat sink. With dimensions of just 83 x 38 x 153 mm, the amplifier can be installed even in spaces where there is hardly any room for conventional power amplifiers.

For flexible system tuning, the SX-FOUR features adjustable high-pass and low-pass filters ranging from 50 to 5,000 Hz for both the front and rear channels. Among other things, this enables fully active operation of a 2-way speaker system. Using the input selector switch, the amplifier can be operated with either two or four input channels. 

In addition to the low-level RCA inputs, high-level inputs with ESX EPS® (Error Protection System) are available. These enable integration into many factory-installed sound systems and are designed to prevent error messages from the vehicle diagnostic system. An automatic power-on function via the high-level signal, as well as start-stop capability, further facilitate integration into modern vehicles.
