ESX SX-FIVE

The ESX SX-FIVE from the SIGNUM SX MINI series is an exceptionally compact 5-channel power amplifier designed to power a complete car audio system. Four separate full-range channels are available for front and rear speakers, while an additional high-power channel is specifically designed for the subwoofer. This allows you to set up a complete system with just a single amplifier.

Despite its extremely compact dimensions, the SX-FIVE delivers a total output of up to 600 watts RMS. The advanced Class D circuitry operates at an efficiency of up to 85%, resulting in minimal heat generation. In combination with the sturdy die-cast aluminum heat sink, the power amplifier can be installed even in very confined spaces, such as under a seat, behind a side panel, or inside compact trunk compartments.

For integration into modern vehicles, the amplifier features not only low-level inputs but also high-level inputs with the ESX EPS® Error Protection System. This makes the SX-FIVE particularly well-suited for retrofitting factory-installed radios and OEM sound systems. An automatic power-on function via DC offset or audio signal enables operation even if the factory radio does not have a standard remote output.

The built-in active crossovers allow for flexible adaptation to different speaker configurations. Extensive filtering options are available for the front and rear channels, while the subwoofer channel features an adjustable low-pass filter and a subsonic filter. The included bass level remote control also allows for convenient adjustment of the subwoofer level from the driver’s seat.
