The ESX DBX208BPA is a high-performance dual-active bandpass system featuring two 20 cm (8-inch) subwoofers and a built-in Class D mono amplifier. With 400 watts RMS of output power, the system delivers powerful bass reproduction and is particularly well-suited for vehicles where the bass is intended to be directed from the trunk into the passenger compartment.

One standout feature is the innovative Flex Port technology. The bass port integrated into the enclosure can be oriented either forward or backward. To do this, the aluminum cover and the port frame are repositioned accordingly. This allows the sound pressure to be directed into the passenger compartment, for example, directly through an opening in a ski bag. This design is particularly advantageous for sedans with a separate trunk and convertibles.

The integrated ESX POWER4 amplifier module uses efficient Class D technology and achieves an efficiency of up to 84%. Thanks to high-level inputs with EPS PRO, an automatic power-on function, and start-stop support, the system can also be integrated into numerous modern vehicles equipped with factory-installed audio systems.

For custom sound tuning, an adjustable low-pass filter, a subsonic filter, a bass boost, and a phase switch are available. The included wired bass-level remote control allows you to conveniently adjust the subwoofer's volume from the driver's seat.
