Wiring wizard & port computer

Use our wiring wizard for simple wiring of speakers and subwoofers! The correct connection is important for your amplifier! Low-impedance operation can damage the amplifier! The data sheet shows you which connection the respective amplifier is designed for!

Our port calculator shows you which tuning your enclosure has! The net volume is always particularly important here; calculate the pure chamber of the subwoofer beforehand to arrive at the correct result. The net volume is calculated minus all displacements and is important when designing the enclosure.

The CZ Audio KW4 15" is a no-compromise 38-cm subwoofer designed for high-performance car audio and SPL systems. With a power handling capacity of 6,000 watts RMS, a massive ferrite driver, and a generously sized 4-inch voice coil, the KW4 series is designed for enormous power reserves and high sound pressure levels.

At the heart of the KW4 15" is the 101.6 mm aluminum voice coil with an 8-layer winding. The robust drive system generates a strong magnetic field and enables the driver to operate in a controlled manner even at very high input power levels. With a linear diaphragm excursion of 40 mm Xmax in one direction, the subwoofer also offers enormous mechanical reserves for intense low-frequency reproduction.

For the diaphragm, CZ Audio relies on a sturdy, glass-fiber-reinforced paper construction. The combination of low moving mass and high rigidity is designed to reduce unwanted distortion of the diaphragm at high volume levels. As a result, the KW4 is suitable for both extremely powerful deep-bass setups and systems that require controlled bass reproduction despite high output power.

One of CZ Audio's unique features is its manufacturing process: the subwoofers are handcrafted in Austria. As a result, the KW4 15" is particularly suited for users who are looking for a performance-oriented, high-end subwoofer for custom and sophisticated systems—one that goes beyond traditional mass-produced drivers.
