Our port calculator shows you which tuning your enclosure has! The net volume is always particularly important here; calculate the pure chamber of the subwoofer beforehand to arrive at the correct result. The net volume is calculated minus all displacements and is important when designing the enclosure.

The CZ Audio KW4 12" is a no-compromise 30-cm subwoofer designed for high-performance car audio and SPL systems. The KW4 series is handcrafted in Austria and combines a solid ferrite motor with a generously sized 4-inch voice coil. The eight-layer aluminum winding is designed for extreme electrical power handling and enables an RMS power handling capacity of up to 6,000 watts.

To ensure mechanical durability, CZ Audio relies on a particularly sturdy design with a high potential for cone excursion. The KW4 12" achieves a specified Xmax of 40 mm in one direction, making it suitable for applications that require high sound pressure levels combined with powerful low-frequency bass. The current version also features the new TC basket, which is designed for even greater excursion.

Depending on the model, the KW4 is available with either a glass-fiber-reinforced paper cone or a carbon cone. Thanks to its powerful ferrite driver, large voice coil, and robust suspension, this subwoofer is particularly well-suited for high-power bass-reflex and SPL setups. According to the manufacturer and product specifications, it is manufactured entirely in Austria.
