ESX now offers a compact yet very powerful subwoofer solution for the popular Volkswagen “Bulli” models of the T-series: The custom-designed SXT800Q subwoofer enclosure can be discreetly installed under the passenger seat, where it delivers impressive sound and bass reproduction. If you have additional space under the driver’s seat, you can even install two of these down-firing subwoofer systems. Using the proven Quick-Connect connector, the subwoofer can be connected to both conventional amplifiers and, conveniently, to compatible ESX amplifiers via a plug-and-play connection.

Although the SXT800Q was designed as a down-firing system, it features a sturdy protective grille. What may seem unnecessary at first glance proves to be extremely useful during installation: there are cables and exposed carpet panels located under the seat. Without this protective grille, unwanted background noise could occur or the diaphragm could even be damaged. To securely mount the enclosure, two sturdy metal plates are included in the package; these are attached to the metal rails and the speaker using the screws provided.
