The three main types are preamplifiers, power amplifiers, and integrated amplifiers. In car audio, STEG mainly offers Class AB and Class D amplifiers that drive your speakers and subwoofers directly – ranging from compact 2-channel to versatile 4-channel solutions.

The amplifier's power output should at least match the RMS power handling of your speakers. For optimal music playback, we recommend 20-50% more power than the speakers' rated power handling. For a 100-watt RMS speaker, a STEG amplifier with 120-150 watts at 4 ohms would be ideal.

The range includes various series for every need: the K series offers premium 2-channel models with 2x 120 watts RMS at 4 ohms, as well as a powerful monoblock with 240 watts for your subwoofer.
