As a passionate music lover and hi-fi enthusiast, company founder Heinz Fischer had a vision: to be the first manufacturer to bring the magnificent audio experience of legendary high-end hi-fi components into the automobile. With such an ambitious goal in mind, success could only be achieved through an absolute refusal to compromise on design, technology, and sound. True to this guiding principle, the focus during the development of our GRAPHIC speaker series was on pure, unadulterated music reproduction, consistently achieved using the latest technologies and the highest-quality materials—and, of course, Made in Germany.

Exceptional midrange reproduction with a wide range of applications
Curtain up on the newest member of the BRAX GRAPHIC speaker series: the BRAX GL2! This 50 mm / 2” midrange driver is something truly special in many ways. Throughout its lengthy development process, once again, no expense or effort was spared to create an uncompromising speaker, as one would expect only from BRAX. Every single component—from the basket to the diaphragm—was reimagined and manufactured using custom-made tools. This enormous effort is reflected not only in the outstanding sound quality but also in an unusually compact form factor that opens up entirely new installation possibilities. Even better: Thanks to its exceptionally wide-band frequency response, the GL2 can even be used without an additional tweeter, which comes exceptionally close to the ideal of a point source and elevates the spatial imaging of music in the vehicle to an entirely new level. Dr. Kurt Müller’s extremely rigid aluminum diaphragm ensures exceptionally natural midrange reproduction with particularly dynamic sound characteristics, while the precision-engineered neodymium magnet system, with its optimally linear magnetic flux, contributes to an exceptionally low distortion factor. All of this makes it abundantly clear: with all its technical refinements, the GL2 is in a league of its own.

High-quality design with functional features
As is typical for BRAX, design and function go hand in hand: To round out the minimalist, elegant look, the 24-karat gold-plated connectors—which ensure maximum conductivity—are, of course, a must. The black grille provides optimal protection for the diaphragm against damage and emphasizes the minimalist aesthetic, while the threaded hole on the back allows for discreet integration into the vehicle’s interior.

Thoughtful Attention to Detail
The exceptional level of quality and attention to detail automatically elevate the GL2 to the reference class and should satisfy even the highest sound standards of true hi-fi enthusiasts. As is customary for BRAX, each pair of speakers is assigned its own serial number and recorded in a service database. This high-end product—Made in Germany—is further enhanced by its packaging in an elegant wooden box, which once again underscores the BRAX brand philosophy.
