Our port calculator shows you which tuning your enclosure has! The net volume is always particularly important here; calculate the pure chamber of the subwoofer beforehand to arrive at the correct result. The net volume is calculated minus all displacements and is important when designing the enclosure.

The AudioControl SPK-V8 combines a powerful 20-cm subwoofer from the Spike Series with a bass-reflex enclosure precisely tuned to it. This compact, all-in-one solution is ideal for car audio systems that require powerful yet controlled low-frequency bass without taking up too much space in the trunk.

Internally, the AudioControl SPK-8S2 operates at an impedance of 2 ohms. The robust fiber-matrix paper cone with a mica coating, a high-temperature voice coil, and the powerful magnet system are designed for high power handling and precise cone control. The tuned bass-reflex enclosure specifically supports efficient low-frequency reproduction.

AudioControl also prioritizes stability in the enclosure. A sturdy wooden construction with internal bracing reduces unwanted enclosure resonance. A polyfiber filling promotes controlled sound diffusion inside the enclosure. Designed for in-vehicle use, the enclosure features a durable surface and a removable, powder-coated steel protective grille in front of the subwoofer.

Thanks to its tapered housing design, the SPK-V8 can be installed in the trunk to save space. A Multi-Secure mounting system makes secure installation easy. In addition, a Quick-Plug connection option is provided, allowing the housing to be quickly disconnected from the vehicle when installed properly.
