The Sundown Audio M18 is a powerful 46-cm subwoofer from the M Series, designed specifically for extremely deep yet controlled bass reproduction. With a power handling capacity of 2,000 watts RMS and an impressive linear cone excursion of 35 mm (one-way), the M18 offers enormous reserves of power for performance-oriented car audio systems.

In the M18, Sundown Audio combines the solid Mega Series cast basket with the distinctive Mega-Roll surround and a suspension system designed for exceptional linearity. This allows the diaphragm to move over a wide range while keeping distortion to a minimum, even at very low frequencies.

The driver features a solid quad-stack magnet structure with a motor diameter of approximately 20 cm. The 4-layer, 76-mm aluminum voice coil sits on a sturdy aluminum voice coil former and is designed to withstand high thermal and mechanical stresses. A sophisticated ventilation system efficiently dissipates the heat generated during operation from the motor and voice coil area.

The M18 is available in both Dual 1 Ohm (D1) and Dual 2 Ohm (D2) configurations, making it suitable for a variety of high-power amplifier setups.
