The Sundown Audio LCS-12 V2 is a high-performance 30-cm subwoofer designed for car audio applications that require powerful low-frequency bass, high power handling, and an attractive price-to-performance ratio. The second generation of the LCS series has been redesigned and combines a robust steel basket with a powerful dual-magnet driver and a high-temperature-resistant voice coil.

With a power handling capacity of 500 watts RMS and a linear cone excursion of 14 mm, the LCS-12 V2 offers significantly more headroom than many traditional entry-level subwoofers. The vented magnetic gap and the pole piece ventilation assist in dissipating heat from the voice coil, ensuring reliable operation even at higher volume levels.

The dual 4-ohm voice coil allows for flexible wiring and is suitable, for example, for operating a single subwoofer with a total impedance of 2 or 8 ohms. Sundown Audio has optimized the LCS-12 V2 specifically for compact bass-reflex enclosures. Thanks to its relatively shallow mounting depth, it can also be installed in a wide variety of vehicle designs.
